A Simple and Classic Design

This Amish Leora Pencil Post Bed is simple, sleek and sturdy with a headboard and footboard that show off the solid wood grain and nicely carved pencil posts on each corner. Brass plated medallions and simple finial on the posts are an added touch to this bed.

This Amish Pencil Post Bed is available in oak wood, cherry wood, or maple wood and is handcrafted by experienced woodworkers in Lancaster, PA. Choose from a variety of finish options to complete the look. Call to speak to one of our Amish furniture specialists with questions on the various finishes we have as well as to request samples at 941-867-2233. After an order is placed we send out samples to confirm your selection.  If you order online, expect to receive these within 1 week after your order was placed.  We also offer custom stain matching.

Mortise and tenon construction is used on our Early American style beds for added strength. The rails are bolted together with a through bolt and barrel nut. Each bed has five slats of which two have center supports on the queen and king beds. On all King and queen beds there will be 5 slats / 2 with props. 2 slat supports are needed to meet the mattress manufacturers warranty requirements. They simply attach to the bottom of the slats.

I purchased the 4-poster bed and two nightstands in cherry -- they are absolutely beautiful. The hardware on the nightstands do not compliment the piece so I'll need to switch them out at some point. Otherwise, thrilled with the product!
Beautiful! We are very pleased with the quality of the product. We made some modifications and everything was done correctly. Elvis was great in ordering. Got updates frequently, plenty of communication. Delivery guys were good except they did not know how to put together the desk suite. No instructions or support. They did a great job. Overall, a great experience. Would recommend you highly. I am putting a new order in for a bed based on our experience with the desk unit.
The bed frame and night chests surpassed our expectations. In a day of shabby workmanship and scams, it is a joy to proudly display our gorgeous bedroom suite that my wife and I gave to each other for our 55th wedding anniversary. All I can say is WOW! The color, design, sturdiness, and white glove delivery were exemplary. We couldn’t be happier with our selection. Keep up the great work.
