Put a dash of style to a bathroom with an Amish cabinet

According to the Canadian Press, several years ago, the ideal luxury bathroom consisted of multiple rooms - there was a jacuzzi, a spacious shower and two sinks. Lately, however, interior design for bathrooms seems to revolve around maximizing the amount of space available.

Interior designer Betsy Burnham recently sat down with the news source to discuss some ways that homeowners can make the most out of a bathroom to create an efficient and beautiful space.

One way to spice things up is to look at the space and see where the room may benefit from some creative touches. Burnham suggests that homeowners install mosaic flooring can provide an exciting and tasteful contrast to plain-colored walls.

She also told the news provider that most bathrooms should be painted in traditional colors, such as white or black. This seems to give homeowners the opportunity to experiment with other parts of the area. For some luxury, a handcrafted towel rack can be an inexpensive way to add some style.

Sometimes, there may not be enough room for a full vanity or sink, so a cabinet may be the best way to complete a bathroom and offer ample storage space. Pieces of Amish furniture like an Amish cabinet or towel rack are durable, beautiful pieces that can complete a bathroom with a warm, natural appearance.
