We live in the age of Wal-Mart. There is no doubt about that. And sadly, this age will be characterized by assembly lines, outsourcing, and mass production. At DutchCrafters, each and every product we sell is painstakingly handcrafted piece by piece by highly experienced, authentic Amish craftsmen. Nearly all our furniture is constructed by the renowned woodworkers of Pennsylvania, Ohio, Montana and Northern Indiana, in communities where furniture-making has long been an essential trade. These men and women have established highly reputable woodshops, based upon the time-honored principles of traditional American furniture-making. Their trade secrets have been passed down from father to son over generations, and remain nearly the same today as they were 100 years ago.

Amish furniture is held to the absolute highest standards of craftsmanship! Additionally, upon completion each piece is then inspected for material and workmanship-related defects.
Our furniture is built to order and shipped upon completion; no furniture is left to rot or warp in an ill-equipped warehouse or storage unit! What’s more though is that building to order results in a truly “one of a kind” piece. Some have gone so far as to call each piece of Amish furniture a work of art!
