Solid wood is the theme with the Boulder Creek Mule Chest. The corner posts, top, side panels, drawer boxes and doors are all made in hardwood for a durable long-lasting case piece. Only the back is not in solid wood, and this is because it would be impossible to make this chest with a solid wood back. Due to the expansion and contraction of natural wood, there needs to be flexibility in the back of all case pieces.
