Amish Mesa Mission Dining Chair

Yoder Collection

Bringing all the beauty of mission style furniture to your dining room furniture collection, the Amish Mesa Mission Dining Chairs will truly shine brightly. These popular mission dining chairs offer the strength to withstand everyday use for years, while providing your dining room with the exquisite look of a mission design. The Mesa is breathtaking, showing off its solid wood with a wide central back slat that's flanked by two of lesser widths. Squared and shapely, this dining chair achieves the goal of a mission design, accentuating the straight lines and flat panels to bring out the character of the wood you choose. Topping off this impressive mission design are the lovely inlays in the crown of each chair that are made of yellow heartwood and feature a ginkgo leaf and arrow design.

The Mesa is shown here in quarter sawn white oak wood with Michael's cherry stain. Quarter sawn white oak wood offers an amazing strength and a firm texture. With the oak log cut in a unique way, this Amish furniture displays a unique pattern of flakes and markings that bring out the character of the tree the wood came from. Consider our matching  Mesa Table to use with these mission dining room chairs.

Making the Mesa

This solid wood chair design comes to you from a wood shop in Indiana, where the Yoder brothers have grown up learning the craft of fine furniture making. Attention is paid to every last detail, providing you with Amish furniture full of comfort and style that will last for generations. View more of the R.H. Yoder Chair Collection for more exceptional dining chair styles.
