Our Amish Large Pie Safe will bring back memories of your Great Grandma's pie safe! Our pie safe's are all Amish handcrafted from solid wood with a variety of painted and stained finishes. Pie safe's are great for any room of the home such as the kitchen, home office, bedroom, bathroom or mudroom. This Amish pie safe comes with double doors and one drawers for plenty of storage space.  This pine wood pie safe is shown in a variety of finishes from a celery painted finish to a buttermilk distressed antique finish and a mustard distressed antique finish.  There are two stationary shelves inside the cabinet.

Pie Safe’s were introduced by the Pennsylvania Germans in the 19th century. Pie Safe's was originally used to store pies and other baked good before the invention of the refrigerator which is where its name is derived from. The punched tin was traditionally used for ventilation to help keep the baked goods fresh.

This reproduction kitchen storage cabinet will be a great additional to your colonial style home!  Please call our Amish furniture specialists with questions or ordering assistance.  They are happy to help in any way that they can.
