Design details for the Vandella include the classic criss cross "X" design worked masterfully into the headboard and a full star displayed on the footboard. The posts of the bed are rich and thick with solid wood. You can trust that the solid wood construction of this bed will offer support for decades to come. This is done using tried and trusted techniques, like mortise and tenon joinery and dovetailed slats. 

Rough Sawn Makes for Rustic Style

Wood that's rough sawn features markings like saw marks and nicks. This creates a weathered look that makes a great match for rustic style bedrooms. Wood that is rough sawn attempts to mimic the natural cut of the wood as closely as it can, revealing a natural raw beauty only solid wood can display.

The Vandella Bed is shown here in rustic rough sawn brown maple wood with almond stain. Select just what you want for added features on the Vandella including:

Optional Under-Bed Storage

Built-in Drawer Box

You may choose to add the built-in storage which preserves the style of the bed while building storage drawers into the side rails. It will raise the height from the floor to the top of the side rail to 18 3/4" if you select this option. It provides three drawers on each side of the bed. Here are some of the added benefits of selecting this option:

• Tons of storage space is created
• You no longer need a box spring!

Platform Storage

The platform option will change the layout of the storage and will come with a headboard only. This platform will replace the Vandella's side rails and footboard. This option comes with two side drawers on each side and footboard storage. If you order in full or queen sizes then the footboard will pull out as one large drawer. If you order a king, the footboard will have two separate drawers.
