Amish made bookcases help apartment dwellers store belongings

by Tom Grimes

When decorating an apartment or small house, it seems that individuals are constantly seeking more space, whether it be for storage or to live in. While some may think filling their homes with furniture could be a mistake, one industry expert says that particular pieces of furniture may be a space-saver that opens up the abode.

"There are small spaces, but they are full of character, and a lot of it comes from 'stuff.' It's about organizing the stuff and realizing that the more things you have, the more carefully you curate. When your eye moves around and sees things that are well displayed, it's delightful. If it's a careless mess, your eye reads it negatively," Maxwell Gillingham-Ryan, author and founder of Apartment Therapy, told TheSpec.com.

But those with a plethora of "stuff" may not know hot to best organize and display the items. "[One] trick is going up your walls, using bookcases," he told the news source.

Amish made bookcases can help homeowners store a great amount of goods without taking up much space. These shelving units can hold books and collectibles, and homeowners can also purchase bins to hold their smaller items, and simply store the bins on a shelf of the Amish made bookcase.ADNFCR-3308-ID-19856291-ADNFCR
