The Amish Queen Platform bed is available in oak or brown maple, and sits over a twin size trundle. The trundle sits on four castors, making it easily available for guests. Because the trundle is twin size, it can be pushed completely under the bed, giving you the convenience of an additional bed in a limited space, while still being hidden. You can also slide it to the edge of the queen size bedframe, allowing minimal open floor storage on the other side. 

This is a great option for vacation rentals where additional sleeping space may be required, or children and parents who co-sleep.

No Box Spring Necessary

Because this bed is a platform bed, it requires no box spring. Your mattress will sit on a platform base, providing adequate support. The  trundle also requires no box spring, and a 6-7" mattress is recommend to ensure there are no issues sliding the trundle under the queen bed frame.

The woodworker hand selects the wood needed to build your bed, and completes the build process completely by himself. When finished, the bed will be completely assembled to ensure there are no issues, and once it passes the extensive quality check, the builder signs the back of the bed with pride.
