Homes with children may benefit from Amish made chests

by Tom Grimes

Children are notorious for carelessly leaving their shoes and outerwear strewn about when coming in from the outdoors - especially during winter time! To help keep entryways and hallways clean and clear, homeowners may want to purchase an Amish madechest.

These fantastic pieces of Amish made furniture feature many benefits. First and foremost, they boast a large amount of storage. Individuals can place a chest in the back hall and store hats and gloves in the wintertime and light scarves and extra flip flops in the warmer weather.

If storing winter accessories in the Amish made furniture, however, individuals should make sure that the fabric is dry before placing items in the chest - in an enclosed space, wet wool may be prone to mold and mildew.

These hallway chests are also great in homes with small children who usually sit on the floor to remove their shoes when coming inside. Children can sit upon the benches as they take off their jackets and shoes. Because the chests are Amish made, the pieces will last for years, even with small children climbing atop the furniture to untie their shoelaces.ADNFCR-3308-ID-19865032-ADNFCR
