by Tom Grimes

A fondness of birds seems to be an American tradition. Pillows, plates and other home decorations are all themed with colorful feathers and beaks, and NorthJersey.com reports that this is a trend that is growing in popularity.

"People love birds," Patty Lacourte, an owner of a local retail store, told the news provider. "It probably has to do with freedom... [Birds] can go all over the place."

Birds and their melodies can be beautiful and inspiring. The news source reports that more people are traveling from their homes to seek these feathered animals, just to see and listen to them.

One way to attract birds to the backyard is by installing an Amish birdhouse. They can fill a garden with soothing birdsong or provide the lawn with a lively scene, visible when one is sitting at the kitchen window, getting ready for work.

Many of these pieces are Amish furniture are made in Ohio, and all are beautifully handcrafted. The durability of these birdhouses guarantees that they will stand against the elements for years, adding a unique flourish to any garden or yard. ADNFCR-3308-ID-19908332-ADNFCR
