Making a living room cozy with an Amish electric fireplace

by Tom Grimes

Sometimes, the key to making a home intimate and comfortable is a unique feature, like a fireplace. According to The Seattle Times, a fireplace can be a great addition to a modern home, due to its ability to bring both physical and visual warmth to a space.

When interior designer Candice Olson recently redecorated a home, she wanted to bring in warmth and make the fireplace the focal point of the living room, so she lined polished stone tiles around the fireplace to give it natural feel.

The news source reports that, to further this theme, Olson added vintage-style dressers and hand-scraped oak flooring. She also utilized distressed leather, as it made the furniture appear old and cozy.

Amish electric fireplaces capture both a hint of modern and traditional furniture in their craftsmanship. They are mobile units, so, even if one moves homes, the piece can be taken with you. Since they also produce a fire without wood, there is less of a mess around the area.

Like all Amish furniture, these fireplaces are meant to be long-lasting additions to any home, bringing in a unique style of comfort and calm. ADNFCR-3308-ID-19918635-ADNFCR
