Replace metal cabinets with Amish file cabinets

by Tom Grimes

When designing or rearranging a home office, it's crucial to make it feel professional, yet comfortable enough to be productive. This can be a delicate balance, as work spaces can quickly become cluttered and cramped with paperwork and computer equipment.

AskTheBuilder.com suggests placing the desk near a corner to make the most use of an area. Wires naturally fit in these alcoves, as do larger office necessities, like printers. Shelves can also be built above a corner desk to hold other necessities.

Filing cabinets are another important element, since offices should be kept organized and efficient. According to the Napa Valley Register, many lower-grade cabinets may emit unpleasant sounds and may suffer from wear and tear faster than sturdier pieces.

The news source also advises selecting cabinets in neutral colors, as these colors may help to create a relaxed and professional atmosphere.

Amish-made filing cabinets are built to last, so they may be less likely to suffer from the same problems as cabinets of lesser quality. Some are capable of holding 100 pounds of material.

These storage units will add dignity to any office and, like all pieces of Amish furniture, are constructed to be solid, durable additions to a home. ADNFCR-3308-ID-19908340-ADNFCR
