We build our lift top tables 24&#8243; wide to make them less likely to tip. A 16&#8243; or 18&#8243; base width could be more prone to tipping.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yoder also explained that a steel block of metal is added on the side opposite to make it sturdier.
