JMX Brands Director of Marketing Debra Gingerich received the company\u2019s President\u2019s Award during the specialty retailer\u2019s annual awards ceremony on January 20, 2021. This was the second time she received the prestigious award in four years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A graduate of Eastern Mennonite University<\/a> with a master\u2019s degree from Vermont College<\/a>, Gingerich was the first employee JMX Brands hired, working as writer and communications manager from 2004-2006. She returned to the Sarasota-based company in 2015 to manage the Content, Communications and Marketing Team. Gingerich was promoted to her role as director of marketing in 2018, where she has used her extensive experience in marketing and storytelling to promote the company\u2019s brands. Throughout her time at JMX Brands, she has been consistent and dedicated to the company\u2019s success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n One recent contribution Gingerich made was spearheading Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for the company\u2019s flagship Amish furniture website www.dutchcrafters.com<\/a>. Thanks to her persistence and creativity in SEO, the site saw an increase of 184 percent in organic traffic. The success of the company\u2019s SEO endeavors have had a direct correlation to revenue growth. JMX Brands experienced record sales months in 2020 finishing the year with a 54 percent increase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At the awards ceremony, JMX Brands CEO Jim Miller recognized Gingerich\u2019s efforts and their impact on the company\u2019s exceptional year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cFor me, 2020 was about the effect of 18 long months of organic recovery which is the result of Debra\u2019s leadership,\u201d said Miller. \u201cThank you, Debra, for your persistence over the long haul.
