Larry Page, CEO and co-founder of Google Inc, once described the “perfect search engine” as something that “understands exactly what you mean and gives you back exactly what you want.”

At Dutchcrafters, we aimed to provide the same level of intuitive, generous service to the technology giant that it strives to give its billions of users every day. So when they came to Dutchcrafters to furnish their Ann Arbor, MI conference room, we had out-of-the-box ideas for their collaborative, environmentally-friendly conference room ready.

As part of their mission to go green for good, Google Inc prides itself on making environmentally-responsible choices in all aspect of business. This mission is mirrored by Dutchcrafters' own efforts toward promoting sustainability in the furniture industry. For Google Inc, the primary push is toward carbon neutrality, or a business without a carbon footprint. For Dutchcrafters, going green means sticking close to our roots: woodworkers crafting furniture by hand in small-batch shops; using responsibly-harvested lumber from regional, sustainably-managed forests; and building furniture that lasts for generations both in quality and style.

Like all of our business partners, Dutchcrafters gave Google, Inc true personal attention from one of our furniture specialists. This included a brainstorm session for the ideal conference room table, a discussion and decision to customize the Rustic Slab Wood Coffee Table to fit their office space, and phone calls to accommodate a smooth, White-Glove Inside Delivery of the finished office furniture.

We're proud to see Dutchcrafters Amish furniture supporting the offices of some of the world's most innovative and thoughtful employees at Google, Inc in Ann Arbor, and look forward to teaming up with them again as they continue to fuel the growth environmentally-friendly, forward-thinking designs of the future.
