Although you won’t find pies or baked goods stored in pie safes anymore they are still great for extra storage in your kitchen or dining room. Our pie safes are all handcrafted by the Amish from 100% solid hardwood.

Pie Safe’s were introduced by the Pennsylvania Germans in the 19th century. It was originally used to store pies and other baked good before the invention of the refrigerator which is where its name is derived from. This reproduction piece will be a great additional to your colonial style home!
