Overview
Lean back in the Amish New Castle Mission Dining Chair and enjoy the maximum comfort and style of a mission dining chair. Mission style furniture grew from the Arts and Crafts Movement that sought to move away from the fussy styles of the Victorian Era. Mission style furniture is basic yet elegant and never loses its appeal. The New Castle Mission offers a mission style dining room chair that offers a versatility that works in a traditional or contemporary furniture collection.
With squared legs, curved back slats and inlays that add to its shining mission style, the New Castle Mission is a masterpiece for your dining room. Crafted by the best, our Amish woodworkers scoop, shape and sculpt each chair to provide the maximum comfort. The New Castle Mission is shown here in quarter sawn white oak wood with Michael's cherry stain. Quarter sawn white oak wood is cut in a unique way. The oak log is quartered, then turned and cut to create a beautiful and unique grain pattern. Quarter sawn white oak wood is more resistant to cupping and warping due to its cut.
