Heavy Distressing is an extensive amount of hand distressing to the furniture. There may be heavy pin holes, indentations and nicks, rasp markings and worm holes. The edges of the furniture are heavily worn. Simulated cracks are created on our heavily distressed package. You can notify your Amish furniture specialists if you prefer not to have the simulated cracks in the furniture.

This is a beautiful solid Eastern white pine wood bookcase that won't break your budget.  Choose to order this Amish bookcase in a variety of finish options. Bookcase measures 36" high by 36" wide by 12.75" deep.  

Pine Bookcase Finish Options

  1. Stained bookcase.
  2. Straight painted bookcase.
  3. Primitive paint with rubbed distressed finish on the bookcase.  The wood is not "beat up".   
  4. A light distressing can be applied to ur stained or painted bookcase.  Light distressing includes:  worm holes, eased edges, wear through and other marks to add character.
  5. Heavy distressing is an extensive amount of hand distressing to the furniture and can be added to the bookcase. There may be heavy pin holes, indentations and nicks, rasp markings and worm holes. The edges of the furniture are heavily worn. Simulated cracks are created on our heavily distressed package. You can notify your Amish furniture specialists if you prefer not to have the simulated cracks in the furniture. 
  6. Glaze can be added to  the stain or paint to deepen the character of the bookcase.  
  7. Finally you can choose to do a combination of a stain and paint on the bookcase.  Many choose to stain the shiplap back and top and then paint the rest of the bookcase.
