Amish Rustic Myakka Dining Table
Farmhouse Lifestyle
Often when you think of Florida, you think about the beautiful and ample beaches and blue skies, but there’s more to Florida living than sandy toes and summer sunsets. The Myakka River runs 72 miles in length through Southwest Florida and boasts beautiful access to the Myakka River State Park. In 1910, Ms. Bertha Palmer, a businesswoman from Chicago, came down to Sarasota, Florida, and purchased a large amount of land, creating Meadow Sweet Pastures, located near the Myakka River. She then introduced farming to Florida Ranching!
The Rustic Myakka Dining Table pays homage to this true start to farming and ranching in Southwest Florida, and the history in the name speaks volumes to what this table is: a true farmhouse classic! Handcrafted in Amish country from rough sawn wormy maple or rough sawn white oak, this sturdy and rich table is sure to be the focal point in any dining or kitchen area.
