Product Manager Steve Doe won the Built to Last Award at the annual staff awards ceremony of DutchCrafters, the leading retailer of Amish furniture at www.dutchcrafters.com.

Vice President Linse Miller presented the Built to Last award, which recognizes a veteran employee who steadily contributes to the company’s success. Demonstrated hard work, constant work ethic practices that provide an example for others, depth and breadth of industry knowledge and trends, and a history of stepping up to help are traits that are honored.

Doe has worked for DutchCrafters since April 2018, starting in the sales team. When he transitioned to the Product Management Team, that foundation helped him to effectively communicate product information with sales team representatives to help them respond to customers’ inquiries with accuracy, courtesy and confidence. The DutchCrafters sales team continues to express thanks for his expertise, guidance, and willingness to assist—all with a smile and a positive attitude.

This is not Doe’s first recognition for his achievements. He previously won the quarterly Work Without Veneers award and, for two consecutive years, was named Category Manager of the Year.

“One of the many things I appreciate about Steve,” said Miller, “is his relationship with our Amish vendors. He has a personal, genuine way of cultivating vendor relationships that goes far beyond a transactional nature. His authenticity is appreciated by our partners, and it makes us more than just another furniture retailer who sells their products. I’ve seen evidence of Steve’s congenial and trusted rapport with our partners many times.”
