Christeen Jorno was named the 2020 Top Revenue Producer for JMX Brands, the parent company of the top online retailer of Amish furniture at www.dutchcrafters.com.  Sales and Service Manager Joseph Benson presented the award to Jorno during the company’s annual award ceremony. This was the second year in a row Jorno received this honor.

“This award requires consistent effort, focus, drive and a daily commitment to excellence, which Christeen continues to model,” said Benson.  “Christeen joined the company in October of 2018 and in addition to being a top producer, she always strives to deliver an exceptional customer experience.”

In 2020, Jorno’s revenue output was 23.9 percent of the team, which was also 25 percent higher than her 2019 output. She has a unique professional background involving fine arts and farming, but Jorno has excelled in the Amish furniture industry at JMX Brands.

Originally hailing from Boston, Jorno left her lucrative position at a large software company to enroll at Ringling College of Art and Design. The Ringling graduate started a business creating art for clients, but after the economic recession she switched gears to work for a company that supplies seeds to farmers.  This led to a new opportunity in the groundbreaking diamond-growing industry.  After a few years, she wanted to switch industries, and that is when she joined JMX Brands.

“I wanted to branch out and add to my knowledge of a new industry,” said Jorno.  “I went from growing diamonds with hydrogen and methane, to horse and buggies. Needless to say, it’s been an adventure!”

Jorno recently joined the Sustainability Committee at JMX Brands. She also won the JMX Brands Service Award in 2019 for regularly volunteering at the Manatee County Animal Shelter. Jorno is dedicated to the vision and mission of JMX Brands, while also generously giving back to the community.

“I have a lot more to give JMX, and I look forward to my future here,” said Jorno.
