Sarasota-based Internet Retailer Adds Three Employees, Aims to Upgrade and Innovate Customer Experience

SARASOTA, FL – JULY 23, 2014 – JMX Brands, parent company to DutchCrafters.com, the world’s largest web-only retailer of Amish Furniture and home goods, plans to maintain its enviable position in the niche marketplace with three new team members — one each in Sales, Portfolio Management, and Administration. To accommodate their robust staff, JMX Brands has also acquired a third, adjacent office space in the Interstate Lake Industrial Park that they have called home since their inception in 2003. The growth spurt announcement comes only a week after revealing their advanced ranking in the Internet Retailer Second 500 list of up-and-coming retailers to watch.

The Hires

First on board the thriving JMX Brands is Ryan Schloneger in Portfolio Management. Schloneger is a recent graduate of Eastern Mennonite University in Virginia, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting. He looks forward to boosting DutchCrafters’ handmade office furniture profile, and to joining family in the Pinecraft area.

University of Florida graduate and Venice native Sandra Salanowski joins JMX Brands in Executive Assistance and Administration. Salanowski brings a degree in Hospitality and Event Management, as well experience in corporate event planning to the company, where she hopes to streamline and otherwise improve executive and administrative functions.

JMX Brands’ newest addition is Ashley Johnson, who brings nearly five years of Customer Service experience to her Sales Assistant post. Johnson’s position was created especially to enhance Sales Team performance, with an eye toward enhancing customer experience. As the team continues to increase year-over-year sales volume, Sales Manager Alicia Ochoa believes that, “with Ashley’s help, we can ensure that each customer receives the high level of service and personalization that DutchCrafters is so often recognized for.”

The Future

Customer experience is at the forefront of JMX Brands’ CEO Jim Miller’s mind, as well:

“The investments we’ve made in communicating our story to customers, in marketing and social media, in excellent customer service, in previous hires  . . . these are beginning to show results, and we are experiencing growth in all areas of the business. Continuing to build an A+ team of committed, innovative individuals who understand that our customers come to us expecting the best is crucial to continually providing the best.”

The additions bring the total of JMX Brands employees to an even twenty, though that number is likely to increase as the e-tailer establishes a mobile-friendly website and application, and enhanced customer accounts.
