• Choose Your Stool Hardwood and Finish

Our custom-made bar stools and counter stools will impress with their quality hardwood construction and finish.  Available in various solid wood options such as oak, cherry, quarter-sawn white oak, walnut, hard maple, hickory, elm, or maple wood, and many stain and paint options.  Wood finish samples are available to help you match your new Amish stools to your kitchen counters, table, or bar. 

• Choose Your Stool Seat Height

Choosing the right stool height to meet your needs is a very important factor to consider when shopping.  You don't want the stool too short or too high for your counters.  Our bar stools come in three heights – chair stool height, counter stool height, and bar stool height.  Our chair stools measure 18” high and are perfect for table-height kitchen counters and kitchen tables.  Our counter stools measure between 24” to 26” and work with most kitchen counters, kitchen islands, or counter tables.  Our bar stools have a seat height of 28” to 30” and pull up perfectly to a bar or bar table.  If your table or kitchen counter is 36" high, then the 24" seat height counter stools are the proper selection.  For a 42" high table then you need to select the 30" seat height bar stools.

• Choose a Wood Seat or Upholstered Seat Stool

Think about the comfort you want in your stool seat.  If you plan to sit for long durations, consider upgrading to an upholstered seat.  You can choose from our Crypton performance fabrics or genuine leather for the stool seat.  Everyone loves a leather bar stool! You can send in your own material - fabric or leather to have the Amish woodworker upholster the stool.

• Choose a Stool with a Swivel or a Stationary Bar Stool

Our swivel bar stools make chats at the counter more enjoyable as you swivel towards the conversation. You can swivel to the right or left and easily enter your seat.  If you are looking for this type of comfort, then be sure to check out our bar stools with a swivel option. 

• Choose a High Back Bar Stool or Low Back Counter Stool

We offer a variety of seat heights from high back to low back.  High-back bar stools, also called full-back stools, offer the most support for your back and are considered the most comfortable.  Low back stools are more of a modern bar stool style and still provide some support for your back. 

• Choose to Order a Bar Stool with Arms

Choose to order stools with or without arms.  One thing to consider is that if the stool doesn't have a swivel, getting in and out can be difficult with arms.
