My husband and I purchased a 1940’s cottage on Lake Huron in the summer of 2018. The interior is all knotty pine, pine floors and vaulted log ceilings.

I looked for a sideboard to match the existing pine furniture, also from the 40’s but was unsuccessful. Every time I ordered a sample that looked like it would match, it was not close at all! I also needed storage for dishes and serving pieces as our kitchen is really small.

I found DutchCrafters online after searching for months. I spoke to Kaili who helped me choose the wood and stain that would work with the old walls and floors.

Even before it was moved from the delivery truck to our cottage, we could see that the color was an exact match! The satin, hand rubbed finish is absolutely beautiful and looks like it will last for many years to come.

The craftsmanship surpassed anything we’ve seen. The dove tailed, solid wood, self closing drawers operate smoothly. It is a substantial piece of furniture that our family will enjoy for many years to come!
