Platform Option

While the Amish Romano Bed with Low Footboard is built to require a box spring for adequate mattress support, we believe in options. Choose to add a platform to your bed, and the Amish Craftsmen building your bed will raise the cleats of the bed up 2", and add a solid platform your mattress can lay directly on. This eliminates the need for a boxspring, and lowers the bed a few inches. This is great for height challenged individuals, as well as someone going for a minimalist look.
