Alpharetta, Ga.—The stunning new DutchCrafters showroom and design center at 160 N. Main Street in Alpharetta officially opened on Friday, October 14—exactly one year from the closing on the property. That acquisition was followed by the renovation that transformed the former fitness gym into a showcase for fine Amish furniture handcrafted in a wide variety of styles from traditional to contemporary. JMX Brands, parent company of DutchCrafters, hosted the successful event with the Alpharetta and Greater North Fulton County chambers of commerce.

Guests from near and far included Amish woodworkers who traveled from Ohio and Indiana, neighboring realtors, designers, media representatives, Awesome Alpharetta staff and individuals from local and regional communities. The three-hour celebration offered an opportunity to take a first look at heirloom quality Amish furniture, speak with some of the Amish craftsmen who design and build the furniture, and consider taking advantage of grand opening sales—all while sipping champagne and sharing a relaxed social time in a beautiful setting.

Mingling was fueled by plenty of beverages and quality hors d’oeuvres, including sushi from next door neighbor Monkey 68, a charcuterie board with tasty bites from Yoder’s Meats and Cheeses in Shipshewana, Indiana, and a table of artfully designed cakes generously gifted by Nothing Bundt Cakes in nearby Milton.

Grand opening festivities continue at the store through October 24. On Saturday, October 15, a drawing at the DutchCrafters store resulted in a $500 gift card giveaway. It’s not too late to come in and see what’s new.

The Alpharetta, Georgia DutchCrafters showroom and design center is the third Amish furniture store JMX Brands has opened, expanding its reach beyond the showroom in Sarasota, Florida and the outlet store in LaGrange, Indiana.
