Made with Mortise and Tenon construction!
Our solid wood, Amish made, Early American Classic Windsor Dining Room Chair is recognized for its comfort!
This classic Windsor Dining Chair is one of our most popular designs and goes well with a variety of styles and decors. It is made like most were prior to 1800, with wedged through mortise and tenon joints—the legs are extended through the seat and a wedge soundly pounded into the end of the tenon to tighten the joint. The forward edge seen in this Windsor chair was also typical of the traditional design of that era.
The armchair is the traditional “sack-back.”
This side chair has an especially narrow width at only 17 ½”. If you’re looking for a narrow chair, the Early American Classic Windsor Dining Chair is an excellent option!
All dining room chairs are steam bent and feature a molded seat and tilt back.
"Just wanted to let you know the table and chairs arrived this morning—they are just beautiful! Thanks so much." - Mark and Jessica N., Washington, October 5, 2004
