Dress up your bathroom with Amish made furniture

by Tom Grimes

While many people spend time filling their living rooms, bedrooms and dining areas with furniture, it seems few people take time to furnish their bathrooms. But homeowners may want to decorate their washroom with Amish made pieces, especially when the room connects to the bedroom.

According to BlueRidgeNow.com, "a bathroom that adjoins the master bedroom, dressing area and closets requires a coordinated design to [make the area] a master suite." Homeowners should decorate their bathroom with a few wooden items that match the Amish bedroom furniture.

Wooden bathroom accessories add warmth and elegance to the room, but are also extremely functional. Investing in a high-quality storage cabinet is a great way to keep bathroom linens off the floor. Individuals should pair the cabinet with a towel rack and toilet paper holder as design experts recommend coordinating accessories to create a unified decor.

Since wooden furniture blends well with a variety of decors, homeowners can pick a color scheme once the Amish made pieces are in place. But there are a few colors individuals may want to avoid. "The two colors that never work in bathrooms (in my humble opinion) are lavender and pale green because the light cast can make your skin look very sallow," designer Lynni Megginson told homeowners, according to the Washington Post.ADNFCR-3308-ID-19809255-ADNFCR
