Make a room colorful and dry with an Amish rug

by Tom Grimes

Rooms with sinks, such as kitchens or bathrooms, can often suffer from water damage due to spills. Washing dishes in the kitchen can lead to spills or splashes on the floor and most mats can't hold up to the repeated overflow.

Bathrooms have the same problem because of showers and bathtubs. A leaky tub or shower curtain can leave a floor slippery, which is dangerous for family members and can prematurely age floors.

Many mats that are placed in these areas suffer from overuse, since kitchens and bathrooms are some of the most high-traffic areas in the house, so homeowners may want to invest in a quality piece of Amish handcrafted furniture like an Amish rug to protect the space.

Each one of these colorful rugs has been weaved in a loom by Amish workers, so it is sure to add a unique touch to any home. They are both thick and absorbent, absorbing water without sustaining damage or leaking.

Additionally, each Amish rug is made from recycled material, so they are eco-friendly. Since they are totally customizable, these rugs are available in any size or color.
