All the furniture and décor we sell is built in America, mostly in Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania. With American-made furniture, you get a high-quality product while supporting American workers and local American economies.cordion item and save, it will automatically display collapsed in front end
Our Amish furniture has the reputation as high-quality, long-lasting furniture for a reason. Amish furniture makers have honed their craft with diligence and hard work. They build with integrity, aiming to use their honest labor to produce furniture people can rely on.
We believe that solid wood is the right material for top quality furniture. Solid wood is natural and beautiful. Each piece is unique with varying grain patterns. It can withstand everyday wear and tear and can be repaired or refinished, if needed. With the many types of woods and finishes, solid wood furniture can fit any style or aesthetic.
Master-crafted with solid wood or poly materials and time-honored construction techniques, our furniture is built to be cherished and passed down through generations.
Our furniture is personalized just for you with your selection of options, including wood, finish, hardware, upholstery, size and more.
With years of experience working closely with our Amish woodworkers, we can customize furniture beyond the many options we already have available. Our goal is to help you bring your vision to life, whether you want a different size, added features or a piece based on your own drawings.
Due to the skilled craftsmanship and premium materials used to make our furniture, most of our pieces are built or can be modified to withstand the heavy activity of commercial use. Our furniture specialists are experts at helping businesses find the right pieces to meet their business needs.
Our furniture comes with a one-year warranty against defects in materials and craftsmanship. Some products come with longer warranties for residential or commercial use as is indicated on their product page.

Trusted Leader in the Field
DutchCrafters is the leading retailer of Amish furniture with more than 20 years of experience selling Amish furniture nationwide and on the internet. We have developed the expertise and partnerships to ensure you have access to the finest products with the guidance and support you need to select the best furniture for your needs.
As the leading retailer of Amish furniture, we offer more products and options than any Amish furniture retailer, including those selling online or in brick-and-mortar stores. We offer furniture for every room and style.
Choosing your handcrafted Amish furniture is an individual experience, and we offer personal furniture specialists to enhance and simplify the experience every step of the way. These specialists have spent time in DutchCrafters’ Amish country, gaining first-hand knowledge of our Amish furniture and building relationships with the craftsmen. Available via phone, chat, email or in store, our furniture specialists have more than 45 years collective experience selling Amish-made, customizable furniture.
In business since 2003, we were early disruptors in the field of Amish furniture ecommerce, paving a road where there was no path. We have been the first to master processes for offering multiple options online, delivering unboxed and assembled furniture countrywide, and servicing thousands of orders for one-of-a-kind and made-to-order Amish-made products annually.
We have long-standing, established relationships with our Amish partners, strengthened by our warehouse location in the heart of Indiana Amish country, regular visits to Amish woodshops and furniture shows, and daily conversations with woodworkers. We have evaluated their quality of work and reliability and have selected to partner with the best in the field of highly competent furniture builders. We work with the most Amish woodworkers across Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
We are proud to have received an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau, demonstrating that we meet high standards of customer satisfaction and ethical practices.
Our review score, along with our website testimonials, says it best – we thrive to provide the finest customer experience possible. Our Net Promoter Score of 80 far exceeds industry standards. On the rare occasion something goes wrong, we strive to make it right. Customer experience is at the core of our mission.
DutchCrafters has earned recognition for our business excellence, including multiple appearances on the Inc. 5000 list and accolades like Newsweek’s Best Online Shop and the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce’s Medium Business of the Year. We have also been repeatedly named a top workplace by Furniture Today and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.
With more than 20 years in the Amish furniture business, we know a lot about style trends, wood types, furniture care, and furniture purchasing. We pass on our knowledge free of charge through videos, blog posts, social media posts, and our Learning Center.

Unmatched Services
At DutchCrafters, we believe your customer experience should match the quality of the products you are buying. We are committed to providing exceptional customer service through every step of the purchase and delivery process.
Most of our furniture ships at a flat rate for the entire order. It is delivered by blanket-wrapper shippers, including our own delivery drivers, who are experienced in working with the Amish and delivering their specialized products with minimal waste. White Glove Inside Delivery is also available for an additional charge. With this service, you can expect our delivery driver to safely unload, unpack and set up your furniture, and then clear the packing materials from your home – all while you relax and watch the magic unfold (see our Shipping and Delivery page for furniture that does not apply).
We want to provide all the resources needed for you to make the best choice about your furniture order, so we offer finish and upholstery samples free of charge when returned within 30 days. With this service, you can review the wood and stain in the lighting and décor of your own home to select the finish just right for your furniture.
We understand that high quality furniture can be an investment so we will start your order with just 40% down on purchases over $2,000, with no interest or finance changes. By making a 40% deposit, you then make another 40% payment in four weeks, and the remaining 20% balance is due prior to shipping. Products that ship within four weeks do not qualify.
You can shop with us online, in a showroom, on the phone, via chat or on Amazon. We are available seven days a week with the communication method that serves you best. For those interested, appointments can be scheduled with a furniture specialist on the phone, a virtual showroom walkthrough, or an in-person shopping experience at one of our showrooms. In-home design consultations near our showroom locations are also available.
Our FinishMatch guarantee ensures a matching finish on sets ordered together, even if that requires us to transfer furniture built in different woodshops to the same finishing shop. Please remember that due to the natural variations in real wood, stain colors may vary from how they appear on our website, brochures, or wood samples.
Made-to-order furniture takes time to complete, and we know the wait can sometimes be uneasy. For this reason, we have customer care representatives assigned specifically to your order during the building and delivery of your furniture. They monitor the completion of your order and are available for any questions you have as you wait for the delivery of your furniture.
In addition to the expertise provided by our furniture specialists, we have interior designers available to provide additional advice for large or commercial orders, including in-home consultations.
We provide trade programs for interior designers and real estate agents or builders to help you provide exceptional service to your clients and meet their furniture needs while receiving incentives for working with us.
We are different than most businesses that sell made-to-order furniture. Instead of shipping directly from the vendor to the customer like our competitors, most of our orders are transported to our warehouse located in the heart of Indiana Amish country where we inspect the furniture and ensure it meets our expectations for high quality that you would be proud to display in your home.
With our own fleet of in-house delivery drivers along with trusted blanket-wrapper delivery companies, we ensure that your furniture is delivered safely using the least necessary packaging materials. With the inside delivery upgrade, our courteous and friendly drivers will bring the furniture into your home and set it up in the room of your choice.

Commitment to Social Responsibility
Our company values are Authenticity, Community, Excellence, Giving, and Sustainability. These values guide how we serve our customers, work with each other, and relate to our community. We want the product we sell and how we work to benefit our customers, community and world.
Unlike furniture made from particle board and cheap materials, DutchCrafters furniture is built to last a lifetime. It will not be tossed into landfills or need to be replaced in a few years.
One of our company’s core values is Sustainability. We are proud to sell solid wood furniture that is long lasting and won’t end up in a landfill like cheap particle-board furniture. Still solid wood furniture requires trees, so we partner with American Forests to replant trees across America. We plant one tree for each furniture order and have planted more than 35,000 trees so far.
Our woodworkers source their lumber from regional and sustainable forests.
Much of our outdoor furniture is made of poly lumber. This eco-friendly material is made from recycled plastic and engineered to resist moisture, fading, cracking, warping, rotting, pests, and mildew.
For our Amish woodshops, sustainability is not a trending buzzword or fad. Their commitment to frugal practices and waste prevention is long standing. Our woodshops use a variety of methods to make use of waste, such as wood scraps and sawdust, from fuel for furnaces to animal bedding.
We have installed solar panels on both our Sarasota and Alpharetta buildings to reduce energy costs while minimizing greenhouse gas emissions and fostering a smaller energy footprint for the building.
All our furniture is delivered domestically, with no international shipping. Most is delivered wrapped in blankets, instead of using boxes or other packaging that will be thrown away.
With Giving being one of our company’s core values, we regularly organize giving opportunities for our staff, supporting local charities such as All Faiths Food Bank in Sarasota, Florida.
Since 2011, we have provided scholarships to several college students each year. The scholarship celebrates the inspiration and guidance that is passed along from previous generations, just as DutchCrafters’ founder and CEO Jim Miller tapped into his heritage to find products to sell on an ecommerce platform.
