Green homeowners can purchase Amish made bamboo furniture

by Tom Grimes

Eco-friendly home design has been an ever-increasing trend. In fact, according to the Daytona Beach News-Journal, the Flagler/Palm Coast Home Builders Association in Florida is offering residents green building classes. These seminars will cover topics like the role of third-party certifiers and will provide information on products and services that contribute to green building efforts.

"We wanted to invite the public as well so they can learn what is involved in becoming green," Debi Peterson, executive officer with the Flagler homebuilder group, told the news source. "More and more people are getting educated about green and trying to incorporate it...as much as they can."

Homeowners looking to keep their interiors green can invest in Amish madebamboo furniture - environmentally friendly pieces that don't sacrifice style for sustainability.

Because bamboo's root system is not damaged during harvest, the fast-growing grass is a fantastic renewable resource. But, worries that green furniture lacks aesthetic appeal are unfounded when considering Amish made bamboo furniture. The sustainable pieces still boast the craftsmanship and attention to detail that has become synonymous with Amish furniture.
