Every bedroom seems to have a few things that are difficult to find a proper home for. Extra blankets are too bulky for a dresser drawer, stacks of sweaters compete for shelf space, and spare pillows somehow end up taking over the closet. The Amish Andy Leigh Solid Wood Armoire gives those larger belongings a handsome place of their own while adding the warmth and permanence of solid hardwood to the room.   Behind the upper cabinet doors is generous enclosed storage that can adapt to what you need to put away. Fold clothing neatly inside, reserve the space for bedding and linens, or use it for items that simply don't fit comfortably in a conventional dresser. An available shelf adds another level of organization and can also help configure the cabinet for a bedroom media setup.   Below the cabinet, three spacious drawers create a second type of storage. Use them for clothing, linens, sleepwear, or smaller belongings you want separated from the larger cabinet compartment. By combining drawers and enclosed cabinet storage in one vertical piece, the Andy Leigh armoire provides versatility without requiring several separate pieces of bedroom furniture.   Its design complements that practicality with a refined transitional style. Solid wood construction and substantial proportions lend traditional character, while the cleaner lines and restrained detailing prevent the armoire from feeling overly formal. The result can sit naturally among classic furnishings while still looking at home in a more updated bedroom.   The craftsmanship becomes even more apparent when the drawers are opened. Dovetail joints reinforce the corners, thick drawer bottoms provide substance, and soft-close slides deliver a smooth, controlled close. The drawer boxes are constructed from the same hardwood species as the exterior, continuing the beauty of the selected wood beyond the visible surfaces.   Choose your hardwood and finish to give the armoire a character that belongs in your home.
