Amish Panel Beds
See why Amish panel beds set the standard for beautiful, lasting furniture. Each solid wood bed is carefully handcrafted in an Amish woodshop using hand-selected hardwoods known for their strength and character. From traditional to contemporary designs, our collection includes a wide range of styles to complement your bedroom.
What is a Panel Bed?
A panel bed features a headboard and footboard with framed panels, usually made from solid wood. Unlike a platform bed, a panel bed typically requires a box spring for mattress support, though many Amish panel beds can be adapted to a platform design.

Our panel bed headboard designs do an amazing job of showing off unique features specific to certain Amish builders or styles. The headboard and footboard enhance the design into a work of art, showing off the craftsmanship in a style that complements your room's motif.
Many of our panel beds are available with thoughtful features such as under-bed storage drawers or a low footboard for a more open look. For inspiration on maximizing storage, see our guide to Amish storage beds.
