There are certain pieces of furniture you remember long after the room around them changes. The Amish Juliet Contemporary Craftsman Blanket Chest has that quality, combining the tradition of a solid wood hope chest with the softened lines and distinctive personality of the Juliet collection.   Lift the substantial hardwood lid and discover generous storage for the textiles that make a bedroom inviting: folded quilts, extra blankets, seasonal bedding, and treasured linens. An aromatic cedar bottom comes standard, adding the unmistakable natural fragrance of cedar each time the chest is opened.   From the outside, the Juliet is anything but ordinary. The sides gently flare, giving the case a subtle sculptural quality, while the lower apron sweeps upward in a graceful arch. A broad inset front panel provides an uninterrupted canvas for the color and individual grain of the hardwood. The combination gives traditional Craftsman principles a softer, more contemporary expression.   Thoughtful construction continues in details you may not notice at first glance. Soft-close hinges bring controlled movement to the lid, while exposed hinge details contribute to the handcrafted character. Solid wood sides and reinforced joinery speak to the quality expected from American-made Amish furniture.   Place the Juliet against the foot of the bed for convenient blanket storage or position it along a bedroom wall. Because the chest is finished on all sides, the craftsmanship carries around the entire piece.   Choose from available premium hardwoods, finish colors, and varnish options to give the Juliet a character that belongs in your home.   Give favorite blankets, quilts, and keepsakes a beautiful place of their own.
