The Amish Mars Modern Heritage Chest of Drawers brings a fresh perspective to solid wood bedroom furniture. Its straightforward silhouette and understated details feel current, while the materials and construction reflect a much longer tradition of American furniture making.   Standing 54" high and 37" wide, the Mars makes smart use of vertical space. Five spacious drawers provide dedicated storage for folded clothing, sweaters, blankets, and linens without taking up the wall space of a wide dresser. It is a natural choice for a primary bedroom, guest room, or anywhere additional wardrobe storage would be welcome.   Look beyond its streamlined exterior, and the craftsmanship becomes even more apparent. Each drawer features dovetail joinery, a time-honored furniture-making technique valued for creating strong drawer boxes. The chest is constructed entirely of solid wood, giving the piece the substance and authenticity that distinguish handmade furniture from mass-produced alternatives.   The Chest of Drawers is shown in smooth-grained brown maple, but you can choose from four available wood species and coordinate your selection with a stain that suits your room. Those choices allow the same design to take on an entirely different personality, from warm and organic to crisp and sophisticated.   That's the idea behind Modern Heritage: furniture that respects traditional craftsmanship without looking anchored to the past. The chest has the quality to stay with you and the design restraint to work beautifully as your bedroom evolves around it.   Choose your hardwood and finish to create a Mars Chest of Drawers that's distinctly yours.
