Your bedroom should be the place where the day finally quiets down. The Amish Ox Bow Mountain Lodge Platform Bed with Storage Drawers brings the character of a secluded lodge into that space, pairing rugged solid wood styling with storage cleverly built beneath the mattress.   The tall headboard sets the scene. Vertical planks and bold angled woodwork recall the crossbuck construction of traditional barn doors, giving the bed the unmistakable warmth of mountain farmhouse furniture. A lower, more restrained footboard keeps attention on the headboard while allowing bedding to remain part of the overall look.   But the Mountain Lodge Farmhouse bed makes its biggest difference where you might least expect it. Six built-in drawers, three along each side of the bed, turn otherwise unused floor space into valuable storage. Extra blankets, sheets, clothing, shoes, and seasonal items can all have a place beneath the bed. For bedrooms where adding another dresser or chest would take up valuable space, the platform design offers an especially thoughtful alternative.   And then there is the wood. Broad expanses of American hardwood give the bed its substance and personality. Choose from available wood species and stain colors to take the bed in your own direction, whether that's the deeper, richer character of a mountain lodge or a more refined interpretation of rustic farmhouse design.   Crafted by Amish woodworkers, this is a bed meant to be lived with for years, not replaced when the next decorating trend arrives. The authentic materials, useful storage, and strong architectural design give the Ox Bow the kind of presence that can define an entire bedroom.   Build your own retreat around the Ox Bow.
