Your Backyard's New All-Inclusive Resort for Birds! Amish Handcrafted in the USA!
Imagine your yard transformed into a vibrant, bustling haven, a symphony of chirps and fluttering wings. With the Amish Recycled Poly Hopper Bird Feeder with Suet Holder, you're not just offering food – you're providing a five-star dining experience that birds will absolutely adore! How Birds Will Revel in This Feast:
From the moment they spot its inviting design and colorful presence, birds will know they've found something special. They'll flit and perch with anticipation, finding the spacious hopper tray overflowing with their favorite seeds – a veritable buffet where they can comfortably browse and munch. The clever suet cage, conveniently located, will become a magnet for acrobatic diners, providing a high-energy treat they'll eagerly peck at. You'll witness contented chatter as families gather, individual birds linger, and species after species discover their new favorite dining spot. This isn't just a feeder; it's a daily celebration, an essential stop on their foraging routes, and a place where their natural instincts for sustenance and safety are perfectly met. Your backyard will literally buzz with happy, healthy bird life! The Dual Delight: Why Seed and Suet are a Winning Combination:
The genius of this Amish Recycled Poly Hopper Bird Feeder with Suet Holder lies in its "best of both worlds" design. By offering both seed and suet, you're catering to the diverse dietary needs of a much wider array of avian visitors:- Variety Attracts Diversity: Different birds prefer different foods. A seed-only feeder will attract certain species, but adding suet broadens your appeal significantly, bringing in birds you might never see otherwise.
- Year-Round Nourishment: While seeds are a great all-season staple, suet is particularly crucial during colder months when natural insect populations dwindle. It provides the high-calorie, high-fat energy boost birds need to stay warm and active through winter's chill. It's like a power bar for birds!
- Efficiency for You, Abundance for Them: Why have two separate feeders when one beautifully crafted unit can do it all? This dual design saves space, looks tidier, and makes replenishment simpler, while ensuring your feathered friends have constant access to a balanced, appealing diet.
Who's Coming to Dinner? Birds Attracted to Your Dual Feeder:
- From the Hopper (Seeds): Get ready for a parade of classic backyard favorites! You'll regularly see Cardinals (Northern Cardinals love sunflower seeds!), a vibrant flurry of Goldfinches (especially for nyjer or thistle mixes), busy Chickadees and Titmice, graceful Mourning Doves, bold Blue Jays, various Sparrows, and charming Finches like House Finches and Purple Finches. Even Nuthatches will appreciate the readily available seeds.
- From the Suet Holder: Prepare for the acrobats! Suet is a magnet for insect-eating birds, especially: Woodpeckers: Expect the delightful drumming and presence of Downy Woodpeckers, Hairy Woodpeckers, and Red-bellied Woodpeckers. Nuthatches: These head-first climbers adore suet. Chickadees & Titmice: Already present at the seeds, they'll happily double-dip for suet's energy boost. Wrens: Sometimes, you'll spot a tiny wren darting in for a bite. Brown Creepers: Though shyer, they might occasionally sample the suet. And yes, sometimes even Jays will take a peck at the suet.

The tray feeders arrived without damage (sooner than expected) thanks to good packaging by DutchCrafters.
The product quality was excellent. I was impressed and I highly recommend these feeder trays. However, if you have large animals visiting, I recommend making some modifications.
I had a large raccoon get up in one of the trays and its weight was enough to pull the perforated metal out of its slot in the side rail. I took the tray apart, straightened up the metal, and then put it back together. I then reinforced the bottom with 1/2" X 2" painted oak boards (I didn't have polly lumber) and attached them with 1/8" X 1.5" epoxy coated exterior wood screws. For good measure, I added two 1/8" X 2" screws in each leg for additional support.
Again, I highly recommend this product. Just know they aren't designed to carry the weight of large animals.
