Blue Mountain Amish Hickory Rocker with Live Edge Slats

Blue Mountain Hickory Collection

Our Amish Rustic Hickory Rocker with Live Edge Slats is truly one of a kind. Hickory twigs are steamed to carefully bend-into-being rocker arms and trim, and to prevent insects in the wood. Choose your favorite stain for the chair's hickory wood seat and back.

One of our favorite details about this rocker is how its back slats are made: a Northern Indiana Amish woodworker selects a hickory branch of approximately 35" in length and 1.5" in diameter and cuts it into 5 slats of equal thickness. The widest, middle cut of the branch becomes the center back slat on the rocker, while narrower pieces fill out the back in a balanced way. This means that often, each rocker's slats come from a single branch!

The magic is so often in the details, and we're so excited this item's a part of our Blue Mountain Collection. For another live edge piece sure to intrigue, see our Amish Slab Top Coffee Table with Live Edge.

Please call us with any questions about this product or another. A friendly Amish furniture specialist is awaiting your call! 1-866-272-6773.

We know you will love our hickory rockers as much as we do.
