The Amish Samantha Modern Mission Bed with Open-Back Headboard brings together two qualities that do not always share the same space: the warmth and substance of handcrafted solid wood and the lighter look of contemporary bedroom design.   The 59-inch headboard immediately draws the eye, but its open-back design creates visual breathing room, giving this Mission-inspired bed a more relaxed, modern character. Clean horizontal lines, broad wood panels, and squared legs allow the natural grain of the hardwood to become part of the design. The low 17-inch footboard completes the balanced silhouette, keeping sightlines open and helping your bedroom feel spacious and inviting.   Then there is the difference you can feel night after night. Amish artisans in Ohio handcraft the Samantha from solid hardwood, using substantial side rails and securely fastened slat ends for lasting support. Queen and king sizes include center legs for additional mattress support.   Optional under-bed storage drawers add another layer of functionality, providing convenient space for extra bedding, blankets, or seasonal essentials without introducing another piece of furniture into the room.   Choose from a variety of hardwoods and finishes to make the Samantha your own. Whether surrounded by modern, transitional, Craftsman, or Mission bedroom furniture, its clean architecture and genuine hardwood character create a welcoming place to end the day.   Create a bedroom that feels beautifully considered from the moment you walk in.
