Place it under a living room or bedroom window to create a window seat, or in a near entryway to create a spot to store items likes bags, backpacks, and shoes. Add wall hooks above it to create a small mudroom. It can also be used in a child's room as a toy box -- disguised as a seat. 

Other features of this solid wood storage bench include a rail with 2" scallop detail, soft close lid support, raised panel front, and a scalloped edge at the base.
