The Mission Desk is shown here in quarter sawn white oak wood with Michael's cherry stain. It offers a storage drawer and file drawer as well as a central pencil drawer that can be made into a keyboard pullout if you wish.

A Natural Wood Desk

Notice the flecks and marks of wood that is quarter sawn here. The technique for quarter sawing wood also ensures that the wood is less prone to cupping or warping. In addition, the unique flecks are a result of the cutting, making your wood desk full of unique markings.

There are several other wood types to pick from if say, you prefer the smooth, silky look of cherry wood or the dark shades of walnut.
