Behind the Barnwood

The barnwood used in the construction of this bench is oak wood salvaged from old barns dating back as early as the 1800s. The wood is cleaned and the nails are removed, then it's kiln dried to get rid of any pests. This new life for old barnwood celebrates its history and the unique character it shares with every sun spot, nail hole and knot.
