Early American Porridge Spoon – In Stock, Made in USA

Long before modern kitchens and stainless steel tools, there was a simple wooden spoon—worn smooth by time, trusted by generations, and always within reach. This Early American Porridge Spoon carries that same legacy into your home.

Picture a quiet kitchen in the early morning. A pot gently simmers on the stove. The rhythm of stirring is steady and familiar. This is where this spoon belongs—not just as a tool, but as part of a tradition.

Handcrafted in the USA using locally sourced hardwoods from Indiana, each spoon is shaped through 17 careful hand operations before being polished to a soft, natural finish.

Designed for both beauty and purpose, this spoon feels comfortable in your hand and strong enough for everyday use—perfect for stirring hearty soups, creamy porridge, or family recipes passed down through the years. The smooth edges protect your cookware, while the food-safe mineral oil finish enhances the wood’s natural durability.

Available in three thoughtfully sized options—9", 12", and 14"—there’s a perfect fit whether you're cooking a quick breakfast or preparing a large family meal. This is more than a kitchen utensil. It’s a return to something real. Something lasting. Something made with intention.

Optional Wood Care Kit:

• Revives dry, dull wood and restores natural beauty
• Protects against moisture, cracking, and wear
• Made in America with responsibly sourced ingredients
• 2 oz. Food-Safe Wood Conditioner (Beeswax & Mineral Oil Blend)
• Two sheets of 400-grit wet/dry sandpaper for gentle restoration

Care Tip: Hand wash only and apply mineral oil regularly to maintain its beauty for years to come.
