The entire process from ordering to delivery was exceptional. The level of craftsmanship exceeded my expectations.
We purchased the Amish Reclaimed Barnwood Farmhouse Solid Top Table. We were quite happy being able to customize the table size to accommodate our small kitchen. Unfortunately, we made a mistake when we didn't request color samples of the various wood finishes that are offered. Instead, we told our furniture specialist that we wanted the color of one of the tables pictured. We ended up with a table much lighter and newer looking than we had hoped for, but that was our mistake. We also had one other problem due to the customization. The table leg mounting bolts did not align with the holes in the table and we were unable to install the legs. I contacted DutchCrafter's customer service department and they went right to work getting the problem corrected. They had replacement legs sent out in less than a week. Unfortunately, this occurred over the holidays and shipping was slower than we had hoped. Customer service worked closely with us and kept us informed of the progress and shipping info as they received it from their craftsman. They were also kind enough to recognize the hardship this caused, especially over the Christmas holidays, and provided a refund for the customization charge and an additional refund for all the inconvenience. Problems happen in all businesses, what sets a company apart is how they resolve those problems when they arise. They accepted responsibility right away and took ownership of the problem. They then worked diligently to resolve it. Based on their performance, I would not hesitate to recommend them and we will order from them in the future. By the way, the table is super sturdy and a beautiful piece of furniture, despite our mistake ordering the wrong finish. Our advice is to request color samples and then place that order.
