For anyone who is wary about ordering an expensive piece of furniture online without the benefit of a nearby showroom, this review is to put you at ease. After having to dispose of a home office chair bought on Wayfair a few years ago that was literally coming apart at the seams, we wondered if it was time to try for long-term value and sustainability instead of short-term price. An online search brought us to DutchCrafters. The ability to customize to our preferences was an incredible plus, but we wondered if the chair that we eventually received would live up to its picture and promise. So many online purchases don't. Also, and very importantly, would it be comfortable?
During the wait for the chair (it had to be built!) DutchCrafters sent us timely messages explaining the process and timeframe. Everything happened just as they said it would. My husband was home when the chair was delivered. The text received from him said two words: "It's perfect!" In twenty years of marriage, he has never said that about anything. We like to tease his understated praise for things. If he likes something, he says "not bad." His favorite meal of all time garnered a "pretty good." But the DutchCrafters office chair with the wood and fabric we picked got the ultimate compliment. It's beautiful, sturdy, and comfortable. He's sitting in it right now. We expect to have it for a very long time.
