The COVID-19 coronavirus is of concern to all of us. Our goal at DutchCrafters is to help ensure the wellbeing and safety of our employees, partners and customers during this time of uncertainty. Here is what we are doing at DutchCrafters in response to this pandemic and the guidelines from the CDC:
We remain open online and on the phone for business. Staff in our corporate office are working from home to promote social distancing. As an ecommerce company, we are set up to do our work whether we are in our office or at home. For us, business continues, and we intend to provide you with the exceptional service that we always strive for.
Our Amish woodworkers in Indiana, Pennsylvania and Ohio are beginning to open their shops as the temporary shutdowns of non-essential businesses mandated by the state governments are beginning to be lifted. We are taking orders, and our woodworkers are excited to be getting back to work and putting in extra effort to catch up on their orders. Still, lead times may increase from what is stated on the product page.
Our warehouse and delivery partners remain open and have enhanced their sanitation practices. They have been able to maintain most deliveries as planned. Some delivery dates are being adjusted due to stay-at-home rules mandated by a particular state.
As of June 3, our Sarasota showroom is open by appointment. Please go to our store webpage or call 941-894-6747 to set an appointment.
We are selling Amish-made personal-use face masks and donating $5 of each purchase to a charity helping those in need during this pandemic.
Many good things will need to wait during this time of social distancing but your furniture purchase does not need to be one of them. Our website is open 24/7. You can also email us, chat with us online, or speak to a furniture specialist at 866-272-6773, who can answer any Amish furniture question and walk you through the furniture buying process.
We wish you and your family well. Thanks for being part of the DutchCrafters community.
