In 2000, Mr. Beechy was working for a trailer company when a friend invited him to take over his business building wood desks. Mr. Beechy had been thinking of moving into woodworking, and he and his wife took to the task, setting up shop in an old hog barn on their property. They started by building a Shaker leg desk and a Mission filing cabinet. A need to expand arose, and they moved their work into their own woodshop, and expanded their collection to offer not only desks, but TV stands, coffee tables and other occasional tables.
