Wood Types

Which woods are used for the Valley Collection? We’re glad you asked. Ryan and his team offer a wide variety of wood types to pick from. You can go with oak with its prominent wood grain, smooth and sophisticated cherry, the natural rough appeal of hickory, the dark tones of walnut, rustic woods that feature more knots and markings, and more. You can sample these wood types before building your bench or nook; we’ll mail samples right to your door so you can discover their magic.

Magical Nooks and Entryways

These magical wood nooks create spaces where family can gather to eat, play, talk or sip morning coffee together. Choose from pedestal, trestle or traditional leg bases. Storage is a feature on many nooks. This daily-use furniture will last for decades and look great doing so.
